Large-scale firefighting drills were conducted in high-rise buildings in China

In China's major megacities, large-scale tactical exercises for firefighting in high-rise buildings were conducted. Rescuers practiced responses to complex fires using modern equipment: unmanned aerial vehicles for reconnaissance, firefighting robots, high-altitude rescue vehicles, and integrated water supply systems. Special emphasis was placed on coordination among services, personnel evacuation, and rapid fire containment. The exercises confirmed the high readiness of the fire departments to handle emergencies in urban settings. The experience gained will enable improvements to tactical approaches and enhance the effectiveness of rescue operations.
